There are eight chartered accountants within the practice, offering statutory and non statutory audits. The entire range of personal and corporate tax disciplines are also offered along with accounts preparation and support. Income and capital tax planning along with management accounts and forecasts are all standard services applied at any level dependent on the size of the client’s business. Apart from general consultancy Beatons Group have their own excellent taxation expertise.
The Beatons Group can also help individuals with personal self-assessment issues. Proficient advice, on what can be a complex matter, is readily available. They also offer qualified advice, in conjunction with local solicitors & financial advisors, on mergers and acquisitions, giving an independent overview on share valuations, corporate finance and matters relating to company purchases or sales.
Around 6 years ago Beatons embarked on a rapidly expanding area of development, called accountancy outsourcing. This simply means letting an outside accountant take care of elements of how a business needs to be run – leaving, for example, the manufacturer free to get on with what they do best, ie operations, sales & marketing or simply enhancing the life-work balance. The Group's outsourcing company, BG Outsourcing Ltd can assist with any one, or all, of such things as payroll; credit control; purchase ledger; monthly invoicing; Sage accounting; end of year accounts. The cost-savings on floor space/personnel and all the associated ramifications of illness, redundancy, recruitment are very advantageous. The benefit to key management in being allowed to focus on what they should be doing is invaluable.
