Covid-19 support

WE LVE NUMBERS!

The coronavirus pandemic has swept the globe at breakneck speed, with many of us struggling to keep abreast of the way it is evolving and the impact it is having on day-to-day life - not to mention what financial help is available to us to ride the storm.

Here at Beatons, we have been inundated with requests for further information on the full range of support measures on offer to UK businesses and employees as management of money becomes a primary concern for many.

Firstly, we can reassure you that while this is a difficult time for businesses and workers, the response from the Government has been unprecedented.

Our role is to help you and your company navigate the next few months the best way we can.

Here, we aim to answer common questions and provide you with up-to-date information on financial support packages for businesses, advice on how to support your employees and guidance on the eligibility and application process of the grants and loan schemes now up and running.

This will include helping you furlough staff though the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme – where all UK employers with a PAYE scheme will be able to access support to continue paying part of their employees’ salary – and the Self-Employment Income Support Scheme which aims to support self-employed individuals whose income has been negatively impacted.

We will also break down the detail behind the Coronavirus Business Interruption Loan Scheme and the Coronavirus Large Business Interruption Loan Scheme as well as the Covid-19 Corporate Financing Facility which allows the Bank of England to buy short-term debt from larger companies.

Further areas we will explore include the Business Rates Holiday for Retail, Hospitality and Leisure, the Cash Grant for Retail, Hospitality and Leisure and Small Business Grant Funding.

On top of this, we will help you negotiate the Statutory Sick Pay Rebate, the VAT and self-assessment deferrals and tap into the Support for Businesses Paying Tax Scheme which allows you to get support with tax affairs through HMRC’s Time To Pay service.

You can use this page as a one-stop shop to find all the answers you need. But if you can’t find what you are looking for and have a specific question to ask, you can contact us by calling 01473 659777 or emailing info@beatons.co.uk and we will dig through the nitty gritty of the new legislation to get you the information you need.
