With the news currently dominated by coronavirus and the expectation that further measures will be put in place to limit the spread of the virus, we wanted to inform you of the steps Beatons are taking. Like many businesses, we are closely monitoring the situation and are continuing to monitor guidance from the Department for Health and relevant public health authorities.
The health and well-being of our staff and clients is of paramount importance to Beatons, and in light of the latest guidance, we are putting new working practices in place. This includes ensuring our staff take a pro-active approach to personal hygiene and asking any employee with signs of infection to go into self-isolation.
For the foreseeable future, face-to-face meetings with clients will only be undertaken if they are essential. All other meetings will be carried out over the phone or by other means. Any meetings on site at clients’ premises will only be held if essential and for audits, we will endeavour to undertake as much of the audit work as possible remotely.
There is currently no requirement to close the Beatons office, but in any event, we have contingency plans in place for home working if it becomes necessary.
We would like to reassure you that we are taking all efforts to ensure that we provide you with a normal service within the guidelines issued by the government. We will of course update you as and when the situation develops.
We are confident that the measures we have put in place will result in minimum disruption to our clients. We are aware of the impact coronavirus may have on your own businesses and financial affairs. The team is here to support you, so please do not hesitate to get in touch with us if you have any questions.
