This festive season, the team at Beatons is proud to be supporting St Elizabeth Hospice.

St Elizabeth Hospice is a charity which specialises in helping to support people living with progressive and life-limiting illnesses.

The team works to help people in their homes, in care settings or at the hospice itself in Suffolk.

Every year, the charity has to raise thousands of pounds through fundraising to be able to help as many people as possible to access its services.

In the spirit of giving, Beatons has now signed up to the St Elizabeth Hospice’s Match Giving Week, which officially started on Monday, December 5th.

Beatons has made a fixed donation to the cause and hopes as many businesses as possible will join in.

The Hospice’s #Beastar appeal runs until December 11 and all the money raised will help patients and their families across East Suffolk.

Stephanie Hammond, Beatons Director, said: “We’re incredibly proud to be part of the campaign for St Elizabeth Hospice, alongside some other brilliant local businesses.

“We hope we can encourage as many people as possible to donate what they can, and we look forward to hearing the final total for this great cause.

“Some of those being cared for will be spending their last Christmas with their families, which is why we hope we can all pull together to support the local community. We know times are tough right now, but every penny really does help.”

On average every Christmas, the hospice provides vital care to more than 1,150 people living with progressive and life-limiting illnesses and their families across East Suffolk, Great Yarmouth and Waveney, for many of whom it will be their last Christmas spent together.
